Welcome to BIOANALYSIS Microbiology Laboratory

The Laboratory of Biopathology – Microbiology BIOANALYSIS of MANTA GEORGIOU operates since May 2013 in Nafplio (opposite the General Hospital of Nafplio).

It has scientifically qualified staff and modern technical equipment, providing high quality health services with respect to each patient.

We are contracted with all insurance funds and cooperate with the largest private insurance companies! In addition, we have secured cooperation with the Ministry of Defence in order to serve members of the following services.

The reliability of the results is ensured through internal quality control, participation in external quality control programs (ESEAP, HELLENIC HIMATOLOGICAL AGENCY) and ISO 9001:2015 certification in accordance with international standards. Also, for the better service of the examinees, it has partnerships with accredited reference centers according to the international standards ISO 15189.

In a context of consistency and respect for people, the aim of the BIOANALYSIS is the continuous development of the quality of the laboratory in order to provide a complete range of primary medical care services.

HEMATOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Haematology is a branch of medicine and other biological sciences that focuses on the study of the haematopoietic system, its organs and, more specifically, its amorphous and amorphous components.

BIOCHEMICAL DEPARTMENT

Biochemistry is the branch of biomedical science that studies the chemical reactions that take place in the body. It studies the structure and function of cellular elements e.g. proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and other biomolecules.

HORMONOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Hormones are chemicals that are produced in one part of the body (e.g. pituitary gland, thyroid gland, endocrine glands, adrenal glands, etc.) and are transported through the blood to other distant organs or tissues where they have an effect.

IMMUNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

In the immunology department, through the continuous development of Molecular Biology and the discovery of new immunobiological markers, tests are performed that lead to the determination of the pathological mechanisms and functions of diseases of the immune system.

MICROBIOLOGY DEPARTMENT

In the microbiology department, tests are performed to detect microorganisms in various biological fluids of the body and their sensitivity to various antibiotics.
